What is a Chemical Reaction?

Chemical reactions happen when either a rearrangement, separation, or a formation of a chemical happens. A chemical reaction is when the bonds of molecules, atoms, and ions are changed. A chemical reaction happens all the time in our world, in STEM, and in ordinary life things. Some examples of things that have chemical reactions are: photosynthesis,  dry ice, rusting, and volcano explosions. Lots of science experiments have chemical reactions also, such as - inflating a balloon with a chemical reaction, elephant's toothpaste, dancing rice, and  baking soda + vinegar!
